Allegrini La Grola 2017 750ml

Allegrini's La Grola is grown in one single vineyard that looks over Lake Garda between 280 - 300 metres above sea level. The exposition and soil here makes a powerful style of wine. The wine does not fit exactly into the Valpolicella DOC regulations as there is no Corvinone in the blend, but effectively this is Valpolicella bumped down to IGT.
 
The wine is polished and elegant with a dense palate of intense black cherry and woodland notes with firm tannins and bright acidity.
